The insertion and removal class for beginning contact lens wearers is one of the most important educational services we provide in our practice. Dr. Battani still teaches each and every one of these classes personally, because he believes in the importance of each patient to hear the important details straight from the horses mouth.
Your long term success and safety as a contact lens wearer is directly proportional to your ability to grasp and conquer the concepts and techniques required to become a competent, confident wearer. After your comprehensive eye exam, you will be reappointed for your insertion and removal class. A block of time will be reserved in advance, to ensure that you are not rushed and have every opportunity to develop and master the necessary skills successfully.
You have passed the class when Dr. Battani is satisfied with your proficiency and you will then be given a wearing scheduled and a one week follow appointment. At that visit, if you are successful, without complications, your prescription will be finalized and a supply of lenses can be ordered.
