School aged children comprise a good portion of our patient population here at Optical Infinity. There is an inexorable link between vision and learning in the classroom, so it is imperative that your child be evaluated for their refractive error and any other visual and perceptual anomalies that might affect their development and performance.
Difficulty with reading, may involve skipping words, skipping lines, losing their place, and poor stamina when concentrating on near point tasks, are signs of uncorrected refractive error. The same goes for performance in the field of play. For instance, if your child is having trouble hitting or catching the baseball or tennis ball with their racket, that might be a sign that they are in need of vision correction.
Children of all ages become active in all sorts of school related and extracurricular activities. We are prepared for the full range of visual needs and expectations of our active youth. You'll find everything you need to outfit your child's eyewear requirements in our optical dispensary. You can have full confidence that we have you and your family covered.
